Cathy Hersch has been in the legal field for almost 30 years. Although she began her career in civil litigation, she focused the last 23 years on family law, bankruptcy law and Estate Planning. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she was an Honors student, and was published in Who’s Who in the legal field. As a student, Cathy won first place for her performance at the University of San Diego’s Moot Court competition and an American Jurisprudence Award for her performance in Wills and Trust. Cathy holds an undergraduate degree in nursing. Ms. Hersch is a member of the California State Bar in good standing and the San Diego County Bar Association. She is also certified in mediation.
Ms. Hersch has been involved in various charities over the years. She is the founder of “Santa’s Workshop” at New Alternatives (formerly the old Hillcrest Receiving Home), has been a member of "Volunteers in Parole" for troubled teenagers, and is an advocate for environmental preservation and animal rights causes. |
